Today began by waking up at 5:30 and packing our things as usual, except since we slept in a residence hall on Colorado College's campus we didn't have to worry about packing up air mattresses and sleeping bags.

The family of one of my teammates the Fredricks, cooked us an amazing breakfast including honey baked ham, a great casserole, and fresh fruit that was a real treat compared to our cup of cereal and a bagel with peanut butter.

We had a hand cyclist join us for the first 20 miles and he was incredible. He's flying up to Alaska to compete in the hand cycling "Tour de France" next week and he recently completed independence pass.

Today I was a sweep and had the opportunity to ride with every paceline because of all the flats the team had today. We had a 60 mile rack point at 11:30 and at 10:45 we were 15 miles out. My paceline decided to pick it up and give our best shot at making the rack point and we did, we flat out flew the last 45 minutes against a strong headwind and made it just in time.

This eveing we had a great friendship visit with a local ARK and met some amazing individual and ate some great pizza at a local shop in town.
