Day 3 – Trip to NY - New Years Eve

My second full day in NY was much more relaxed than the first sleeping in and leisurely starting our day around noon after sandwiches. We awoke to snow in the morning which made for a very pretty day in NY despite the photo that makes outside look terrible.


The four of us headed to Macy’s which was overwhelming and packed since it was NYE and everyone else had the same idea.

After fighting the crowds we did a little more shopping before taking a break getting ready for an exciting night out.

Tech was playing Tennessee in the Chik-fil-a bowl so we planned on heading to a Tech Alumni bar to catch the game, The Pour House. After learning that there was a $20 cover charge to watch the game we left and headed to Barfly to watch the game. Sliders, Brooklyn Lager, and Tech’s first bowl win we started the New Year and new decade off right!
